Going antiquing and finding great things like this...
A lovely teal blue vintage wicker sewing box with a floral decal on the lid and also on the inside bottom.
Even though I don't sew (at least not yet anyways...), I love to use these vintage sewing boxes for storage as they are so pretty displayed on a shelf, or even just sitting on the floor.
I actually have several of these in my collection now, each in a different color, including a creamy white, a bubble gum pinkish color and one in yellow as well. I'll have to gather them all together for a group picture one day soon to show my complete collection.
This wasn't all that I found, but I'll wait to share the rest in a day or two.
I hope you all have been having a great weekend and that maybe you've found yourself a few new treasures too.
See you soon!!

Dear Shabby Kim,
I love your gorgeous sewing basket! Vintage things are so beautiful! I had not seen a blue one before. I have two pink ones that I love storing my sewing things in. You would love sewing! Too bad we don't live close, I could teach you how to sew! :) I look forward to seeing all of your collection and your other pretties! So glad you had fun.
Love and blessings,
Paula
That vintage sewing basket is DEVINE!! I love going antiquing; not really looking for anything specific, but just being surprised at finding things you just love! Such fun. I can't wait to see what other wonderful treasures you found.
Warmest, Brenda

Such a pretty basket- love the color! Often when you find those they are bent or missing parts- yours looks lovely!
Kim....I have not seen a sewing basket quite like that one before. It is so sweet and a really pretty color. Love the floral decal on the lid and in the bottom.!~Patti
Hi Kim,
Your sewing basket is lovely! It would be hard to use because I wouldn't want to cover the flower on the inside!
