Long time no see huh?? Apparently, I still have a bad case of Bloggers slack going on and really, I just haven't had much to blog about lately. Must be those winter doldrums holding me hostage.
Well, I'm popping in today to show you a couple of my latest antique store finds and some scrappy stuff I've been working on when during those brief moments when my attention span will allow.
A recent trip to the antique mall netted me this darling vintage cream colored quilted hanky holder, which is in excellent condition for it's likely age.
And of course, I needed to pick up another pretty handkerchief to go along with it (excuse the wrinkled creases in the hanky)...
Now, for the scrappy stuff, I found these heart shaped chipboard book pieces recently in the $1.50 bins at Michael's and I picked up two packs of them (4 to a pack) with plans to turn them from plain to pretty...
And I believe I did just that using some of my scrappy embellishments...
Turning it into this...
One down, several to go. When I finally get the other ones finished, I'll be sure to take pictures of them to share with all of you.
See you soon.

Hi, Kim! I have a blue quilted box that I love to look at and I bought a new christmas hanky the other day. I didn't have any so of course I HAD to get it.
Oh it will be fun for you to play with those hearts! think of all the possibilities! I'm getting ready to decorate my old hutch for valentines day and my built in one, too.
I have so many treasures to take pictures of... Maybe once I get my light box I'll remember too!
Love the hanky box Kim! Oh, I have to make a trip to Micheals, and get some of those chip boards!! Hope they have some left! Love how they turned out!

What sweet treasures. I understand about the winter doldrums. I've been an uninspired blogger lately.
