A Hint of Things to Come.........

I am so ready for Spring and all the lovely shades of color soon to be seen...

So much lovelier than the drab dirty whites and greys of these long, cold and snowy Minnesota winters.

Using these soft pastel shades of color brings the feeling of Spring into my home all year round, even on the darkest of days.

Are you starting to decorate your home for Spring?

I love those plates! So pretty! Now that the snow is starting to melt I am hoping we don't see anymore. Maybe spring will be early this year?~Patti

Hi Kim, it's nearly the end of summer here, getting ready for autumn, but i agree, winter is very dreary. Love those plates. And you just can't go past pastels. Dark colours are just too harsh. Also, the plates on your header are just beautiful.

Hi, Kim! Such lovely colors! Love how you put the plates in a Pink basket with a doily! I've done that before, too.

Well, as you already know, were having a warm spell right now. It's 40 this morning and raining and it's supposed to be 50 tomorrow and sunny! Yeah! Winter will be back but these little VA warm spells make Winter much more tolerable than in the Northern states.

I'm still half decorated for Winter- snowmen and gingerbread men but I also have one small Valentine Vingnette.

Hang in there, Kim! Spring is still a long way off! But in the nicetime, you *can* enjoy your pastel home! ♥

Hi Kim,
I cannot wait for Spring, which is my favourite season. I've been away for a couple of weeks visiting my son out in Vancouver and have just now returned to our cold snowy weather. Spring can't come soon enough for me. Alas, I'm still putting away Christmas decorations because we left on New Years Day. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Blessings,
Sandi

I can't wait for spring! One of my most favorite seasons of the year. I love it when the flowers start peeking out of the ground from their long winters nap!
