Pretty Things Around The House ....

What's a girl supposed to do on a gloomy, overcast, lazy Sunday afternoon?

Well, I myself walked around my house snapping pictures of some of my favorite things to share with you.

Nothing makes me feel better and cheers me up more than wondering around my house and being able to see all of the pretty things I have been lucky enough to acquire over the years.

Like pretty china found at the antique mall .....

Or a pretty, vintage style clock found at a specialty gift shop ...

Or even a sweet Christmas tree ornament found at a major retail store that was just too pretty to pack away after the holidays were over.

And of course, we mustn't forget about a darling little yellow wooden chicken on wheels who makes me and one of my dear blogging friends smile all the time.

Well, that's how I spent my afternoon. How have you been spending yours?

Oh1 And I'm that friend- right?! :)

I love to see your chickie and ALL your pretty finds!

I had the afternoon to myself so I tried re-doing the open shelf of my built in hutch and it was a total flop! Ha! The creative decorating juices were on vacation! Oh well! I had a lot of computer time instead... watching old Smallville clips and other silly romance stuff... absolutely nothing productive but since I've got a cold, that's just fine by me!

Thanks for taking those pics! ♥

I just love seeing all of your finds, I especially love that rose creamer...the shape and design is so pretty! Well, as for me...Yesturday I finally got the chance to clean up and reorganize my dresser and wash the dresser scarves that were dusty as I don't know what...now it looks nice and clean...I couldn't believe how much junk was on my dresser...paperwork and such...I found a solution for my necklaces that were scattered everywhere too...I hung them on the side mirror... using suction cups until I come up with a better solution. One of those huge jewelry chests will work for me...and will be mine when I ever find one at a garage sale lol! Well, Hope you have a great day Kim...
Big hugs,
Queenie
