My First Mini Album .....

I've been dying to show off my latest craft project that I spent a few weeks working on.  I have lots of pictures to show so I will split this up into two different posts.

If you've been reading my blog for sometime, you know that I only recently started getting into some paper crafting starting late last fall and I've been trying my hand at several different things using pretty much the same materials but just in different ways.

For my latest adventure, I put together my first mini album using some fabulous shabby vintage style scrapbook papers, free images I've found on the Internet and of course, all sorts of embellishments to go along with it.

OK, then, lets get started with the show...

First up is the cover that I've embellished using some small paper scraps, pink rick rack trim and a pretty paper rose embellishment .   I also added some lace trims on the ring binder...

And I also stamped a small scrap of paper using a new set of clear, unmounted stamps I just recently purchased online from Papertray Ink.

Each page of the book was then put together in a similar manner to which I used in creating my tags, choosing the background piece of paper and then color coordinating the images I chose to use and embellishments to compliment the background paper.

In between most of the pages, I added a little tag using the smaller leftover scraps of paper on each side of the tag.

Another page of the book...

And the next page of the book with the mini scrap tag added between the pages..

Oh, and look at this cute dress form stamp.  That's another new recent online purchase and I'm loving it....

Well, that's all you get to see for today.  Don't worry though, I'll show the rest of my mini album in a few days so make sure you come back for a visit to see the rest of it.

Oh how fun, Kim! So many cute things in one place! I can't wait to see the rest. I want to make one some day, too. Do you know I do not own a single stamp? What's wrong with me?! ;) There are so many cute ones out there. I think I'll make that dress form one my dieting inspiration. Ha-ha! Have you seen any of the doily stamps? I'd like one of those because I ♥ doilies!

I'm so happy for you!

I very recently started paper crafting myself and now see why so many women love it. It's such a treat and is very versatile. I had mistakenly thought it would be boring!

You did a gorgeous job. I can feel the pride of your work bouncing off my computer!
