Thrift Store Find & New Tag..

Hi there girls...

Want to see my latest lucky find?

Well, this one blew even me away and I couldn't believe my good luck.  I stopped in at our local Salvation Army thrift shop last week, just on the spur of the moment, having had no plans to go there, but boy oh boy am I ever glad I did because I found myself another great buttery yellow vintage flower basket to add to my collection.

What makes it even more amazing is that I scored this little baby for less than $2.00 if you can believe it.  It was originally marked for just $2.99 with a little blue sticker and when I got up to the checkout to pay for it, I found out that everything in the store with a blue sticker on it was 50% off that day.

I was so giddy with happiness that I almost couldn't stand it.  I just could not believe how little I had to pay for this lovely basket.  It was in nearly perfect condition except for some dirt that easily washed away with some gentle cleaning and these black smudges on the inside bottom of the basket.

They didn't bother me at all though and I may end up covering the bottom with some pretty scrapbook paper to hide the marks.  There was no way I was going to let those smudges deter me from adding this basket to my collection.

Besides shopping the thrift stores, I've also been doing some crafting again after finally getting my crafting mojo back and I made another cute tag ...

And I've also started working on another mini album of which I'll give you a little sneak peak at..

It will likely take me another week or two to finish it, but when I do, you'll get to see the rest so stay tuned for that.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you soon!!

Yum! Congrats- it's perfect, Kim! We went by the Salvation Army yesterday but they were CLOSED for Sunday! Boo- hoo! Fortunately, the Goodwill WAS open and I got some cheap fabric but I wanted to find vintage dishes at SA. They ALWAYS have some!

Doesn't feel good to have your crafting mojo back? My house is a mess because I've been crafting so much but the guys don't care so why should I?

You always have the prettiest papers for your paper crafts! When I look at the papers at the store, I feel overwhelmed with all the choices!

I can't wait to see your finished album. ♥
