Hello my sweet friends and welcome to another "Teacup Tuesday". I'm so glad that you've stopped by for a visit to see what I am sharing today.
Today, you're going to see two teacups, instead of just one. Why you ask? Well, it's because I actually have two teacups in my collection that have the same floral pattern. However, each teacup has a different shape and look to it, so I wanted you to be able to see them side by side to see the differences.
I must admit to not knowing the name of this floral pattern. All I can say is the I find this pattern very pretty, mostly because it's made up of my favorite flower, the rose. I adore the deep pink, almost red color of the roses.
This is the first teacup in this pattern......
This is the second one which has the same floral pattern, with the addition of a swagged border along the top edge of the cup itself as well as around the edge of the saucer...
Now, there they are sitting side by side..
That's the wonderful thing about collecting teacups and other pieces of china. A person can often find so many different pieces in their favorite pattern and not have everything look exactly the same.
Tell me, which of the two teacups do you like the most?
Now if you have the time, which I hope you do, please take a few minutes to visit of the blogs of these wonderful ladies who are also sharing something for "Teacup Tuesday" this week.

Wow Kim, these teacups are so beautiful. It would be very hard to decide.
Good morning Kim! Oh, my gosh, yes, we do have the same taste, and would have a great time shopping together, but I think we'd fight over everything! "That's mine - no, I saw it first!" LOL!!! I saw your blue Allyn Nelson, your Lady Carlyle, Victoriana Rose, and was glued to your blog! AND I LOVE ROSES, TOO! So glad you started Teacup Tuesday - it's wonderful, and I'm enjoying the others as well - great variety, and really great people! Now, for your two teacups, I love them both. The swag teacup could be Royal Patrician - I have a teapot/cream/sugar in a similar pattern with the swag, but no teacup, so I won't post it - or maybe I will along with a coordinating teacup, so you can see it next week. Both are just beautiful. I choose the one on the right for morning tea, and the one on the left for afternoon tea!
Hmm, I guess my first post didn't take! Happy Teacup Tuesday! I pick the one on the right, the romantic swag is so precious!
Very pretty teacups. I like Mary's answer right for morning tea, left for afternoon tea. If I had to have tea just once I think I would go with the one on the left, beautiful and just a tad bit more bold. Very fun!

OMGosh!! Those are beautiful! That's so interesting that they have the same pattern....and yet, they don't look the same.
Oh my goodness, those are two of the prettiest tea cups I have ever seen.

Very pretty teacups Kim! I am sorry I have not been keeping up with Teacup Tuesday very well. I will try and sneak one in every now and then when I am not too busy!
Blessings~
Hey Kim!
Happy Teacup Tuesday! These are both so pretty. If I had to pick a favorite....mmmm, It's tough but I think I would pick the one on the left. Hope you have a great night.
Big Hugs,
Queenie
If I had to pick my favorite, it would be the one on the right. Both are beautiful.
I have my Mom's teacups all packed up and I need to go through my shed and find them so that I can join you weekly. I have been meaning to do this. We had them all packed up when we had to move her to an assisted living, then a nursing home. Soon after I had all my MILs stuff here too when she went to an assisted living. After losing both of them, many things just got left packed and I need to go through these wonderful things.
I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party this weekend. Mr. Linky will be up Friday evening if you would like to join us. THis is the final week of this month long party at Playing Dishes.
Both are gorgeous! I couldn't pick a fav if I had to!
Hi Kim! Thanks for stopping by to see my projects! It's been such fun taking photos and learning how to use things on my computer because of this blog - and meeting great gals like you! Looking forward to next Tuesday - I know you've got something nice for us!
I like the first tea cup the best. The colors seem to be a little more bold. I also like the style of the cup and saucer. But there both really pretty cups.
