A Wee Bit of Christmas...........

After visiting so many blogs over the past few weeks and seeing everyone's gorgeous Christmas decorations, I had to cave in just a little bit and bring out just a few of my Christmas pretties to add a little holiday sparkle to my house.

I didn't feel liking digging out the Christmas tree, the lights and all of my other Christmas decorations, but I figured pulling out a few of my favorite Christmas ornaments to create a little tabletop display would suit me just fine this year.

I'll call this my "Christmas in a bowl". And as you can guess, most of my favorite Christmas ornaments are PINK!!.

With a yummy shade of shabby chic green thrown in for some contrast..........

And of course, we can't forget the glitter and lace trims......

A simple and creative way to add some holiday sparkle and shine to my house. I'll be displaying this bowl of Christmas pinks and green on my coffee table.

I did not feel like doing up big trees either this year so just did the small ones.
I am betting this adds just the right touch of Christmas for you.. like that Christmas in a Bowl...;-)

Kim I am so glad you brought a few things out! I know they have to be making you smile because they are just to die for! But I want to TOUCH them! (Kinda hard in blogland) Shiny, sparkly and PINK! Love them all. And the little tree is the perfect accent.
You know, we get so wrapped up in our lives and everything that is going on - with me this past week it's been the finale of Doors of Welcome - and I really haven't had much time to sit down and just catch up. And reading the post below this I just needed to say I am sad that I didn't get to participate in Tea Things Tues. I had every intention . . . and just never made it. But reading back over your older posts and looking at all the fabulous pictures of all your wonderful tea "things" . . . it has been such a nice way to begin the day. You have the most beautiful pieces. I need to hunt further back to see how you have them all displayed in your home. I'd love to see! If you haven't posted that - please - please share with all of us. (Sorry - I'm nosey!)
I did go to the Etsy site you recommended and bought the last 3 cupcakes she had. :) In fact, you can see them on my worktable in my studio if you go to my last post. They do make me smile!
I so enjoy your blog. You have a wonderful way with photos and words . . . and everything is so soothing and pretty.
OK I'm rambling, but I just wanted to thank you for keeping such a beautiful blog. I just love visiting here.
Have a wonderful day!
Merry Christmas!

PS - I'll bet that coin machine felt like a slot machine! :)

Dear Kim,

I just found and drooled my way through two months of your blog! Wow, such treasures, so beautifully displayed! You have such a talent for artistically arranging your home~I feel inspired (Although I may have to just enjoy your pretty things, for with small children running about, they wouldn't last long here ;)!).

May you have a peaceful, blessed Christmas.

Love,

Marqueta
