Tea Things Tuesday....

Hello my sweet friends and welcome to the latest addition of "Tea Things Tuesday". I am so glad that you have stopped by for a visit today.

I would like to begin by sending out a special hello and welcome to the newest participant's that have joined us over the past few weeks.

Today, I am bringing a little dose of sunshine into your day by sharing with you my collection of Welbeck Chintz. It wasn't so very long ago that I shared the teacups with you as part of Teacup Tuesday, but now you get a chance to see my entire collection, as small as it may be.

This collection started many years ago when I purchased the Welbeck Chintz teapot when it was offered for sale as a limited edition piece through "Victoria" magazine....

Of course, I couldn't buy just the teapot. I had to have a couple of teacups to match, so I bought two teacups as well. The luncheon plates were added later when I discovered them in a local discount store (either TJ Maxx or Marshall's. I can't remember which).

A couple of desert size plates and a sugar and creamer set also found their way into my collection at some point along the way...

A perfect collection for a tea for two...

That's all I have to share today. To continue on your journey of seeing more pretty tea things, please visit the blogs of these wonderful ladies to see what they will be sharing with us today.

** I'd like to send out a special thank you as well to "M" at Tales from an OC Cottage (http://talesfromanoccottage.blogspot.com/) for allowing me to borrow the pretty button she created for "Tea Things Tuesday".

I love your Welbeck chintz. Lately, I am really drawn to yellow and it really mixes well with the other colors in your beautiful set. It couldn't be any prettier.

Oh how fun that you were able to find so many pieces in different places! You already know I love chintz!

If we get to move to Idaho, I'll be closer to all those great stores! ♥

Hi Kim, that beautiful chintz china is perfect for serving two at tea! How about you and me?! Yellow is sometimes difficult to find in a teacup or teapot, especially a pretty one, but Welbeck put it all together in these lovely pieces...so nice that you have serving pieces as well, so its complete for a completely wonderful afternoon tea!

Blessings,
Mary

So pretty Kim. Love the colors soft yellow and the pinky reds.
I had a love seat and chair done in the fabric chintz way back when. Loved it!!
I am thinking you could open your own tea shop with all your sets!!!

SO pretty. I hope to participate in the future. Sorry but I have no idea how to set up Mr. Linky but you may want to ask Susan at Between Naps on the Porch how to set it up. She is a wonderful gal and I know would help you.

You are so very welcome for the button!!! Love the Welbeck! We bought some through Victoria too...it nearly cost as much as the vintage version...and then when if was @ TJ MAXX for a fraction of the price, it was all scooped up before we could get it! Oh well...such is life... Your tray is fabulous too!
